The Vale Modern Chandelier is a long, linear statement light made for the space above a dining table or kitchen island. A slim gold-finished steel bar runs 187cm (73.6in) end to end, carrying individually hand-blown glass discs that sit on sculpted gold caps and alternate above and below the frame. Because every disc is mouth-blown, each has its own subtle swirl and thickness, so when the integrated LEDs come on the glass glows a soft, milky warm white rather than throwing harsh glare. Ten LED modules of 3.6W each produce 3000K warm white light across roughly 15 to 30 square metres (161 to 323 sq ft). The fitting hangs from a long 79cm (31.1in) canopy on two slim adjustable rods, with a drop from 61cm to 396cm (24 to 155.9in), so it can sit about 75cm (29.5in) above a tabletop under a standard ceiling or be lowered into a raked or double-height room. At 22.6kg (49.8lb) it is a substantial piece that suits contemporary homes, coastal dining rooms, hotel lounges, bars and restaurants. It is hardwired, runs on AC 90-260V and should be installed by a licensed electrician.

Care Instructions
Always switch the chandelier off at the wall and let the LEDs cool before cleaning. Dust the hand-blown glass discs with a soft microfibre cloth or feather duster; for fingerprints, use a cloth barely dampened with warm water and a drop of mild detergent, then buff dry. Avoid ammonia-based glass sprays, which can cloud mouth-blown glass and attack the plating where each disc meets its cap. Wipe the gold-finished steel frame and canopy with a dry, soft cloth only - metal polish, abrasive pads and solvents will wear through the plating and expose the steel beneath. Support each disc with one hand while cleaning around it rather than pulling on it, and never spray liquid directly onto the fitting, where it could reach the integrated LED modules. The chandelier is for indoor use only and should be kept out of steamy bathrooms and outdoor areas. Any change to the suspension height or wiring should be made by a licensed electrician.
