Its square profile pairs a flat charcoal top with a recessed band of warm light and a stainless steel frame, so the glow washes softly down the sides of the pillar instead of shining into your eyes. The solar version charges through the day and switches on automatically at dusk, giving approximately 10 to 12 hours of light once fully charged, with no trenching or cabling, while the plug-in electric version suits permanent mains-powered installations. Sealed to IP65 and built from rust-resistant stainless steel, it is made to handle Australian rain, sun and coastal air on exposed front entries. Choose the 20 cm size for larger rendered or sandstone pillars, or the compact 15.5 cm size for brick piers, timber posts and low garden walls.

Care Instructions
Wipe the stainless steel frame with a soft cloth and warm, mildly soapy water, following the direction of the grain, then dry with a clean cloth to prevent water spots. Avoid steel wool, scouring pads, bleach and chloride-based cleaners, which can scratch the finish and cause surface rust. In coastal or pool areas, rinse off salt and chlorine residue with fresh water every few weeks. On the solar version, keep the top panel clear of dust, leaves and bird droppings so it charges fully, and trim back plants that shade it. Check the base fixings once a season and re-tighten if needed. For the electric version, switch off the power before cleaning. Do not pressure wash the fixture.
