Care Instructions
Turn the lamp off at the wall and let the globe cool before cleaning. Marble is porous, so wipe the base with a soft cloth dampened with plain water only and dry it straight away — never use vinegar, citrus, bleach or any acidic or abrasive cleaner, all of which will etch and dull the stone permanently. Stand the lamp on a felt pad or coaster if the surface beneath it is timber, and mop up spills on the base immediately before they can soak in and stain. Clean the frosted glass shade with a soft, lint-free cloth and a little warm water; avoid ammonia-based glass sprays, which can leave streaks on a frosted finish, and never scrub with a scourer. Keep the lamp indoors and away from bathrooms and damp areas, and check the cord and plug occasionally for wear.
