The Wisp Halloween Skeleton Ghost Decoration is built to hang and move, which is what separates it from a prop that simply sits on a step. At 57 x 80 cm (22 x 31 in) it is large enough to read from the footpath, and light enough that it drifts on the warm evening breeze when it is hung from a gum branch, a verandah rafter or a pergola beam. A battery-operated LED string is woven through the figure so it glows from within rather than needing a spotlight aimed at it, and because the batteries live in a small box on the strand there is no lead trailing back to the house and no outdoor socket to find. It suits the places most Halloween decorations cannot go - out in the middle of a front garden, over a path, or high in a tree - and hanging two or three at staggered heights across an entry turns a doorway into something guests have to walk through.

Care Instructions
Switch the LED strand off and remove the batteries before cleaning. Wipe the moulded figure with a soft, barely damp cloth and dry it immediately; shake or lightly brush dust from the fabric drape rather than washing it, as soaking will leave the fabric limp and slow to dry. Keep solvents, bleach and spray cleaners away from both the plastic and the fabric. Do not leave the decoration hanging in heavy rain or strong wind - a wet drape becomes heavy enough to tear at the hanging point, and gusts will fray it against a branch or a rafter. Keep the battery box tucked up under cover and out of the weather, and take the batteries out whenever it is stored for more than a few weeks so a leaking cell cannot corrode the contacts. Let the decoration dry completely, then store it hanging or loosely folded in a dry box away from heat and direct sun so the drape keeps its shape and the plastic does not become brittle.
