The Tuko Modern Outdoor Wall Light is a tall vertical bar rather than a conventional sconce, and the vertical striped grid across its face is what sets it apart: light escapes between the ribs to cast delicate bands of light and shadow down the wall, so the fitting draws a pattern rather than a single flat pool. On render, brick or blockwork that turns an ordinary boundary or entry wall into a genuine feature after dark. It comes in four heights - 60, 80, 100 and 120 cm - which matters more than it sounds, because a wall light that is proportioned to its wall is the difference between a considered facade and an afterthought; the shorter sizes suit entries and courtyards, the taller ones carry a double-height wall or a long alfresco run. The body is stainless steel with a PC shade, chosen for rust resistance and good heat dissipation, and it is sealed to IP65 against rain and dust. The warm white 3000K LED has a high colour rendering index of Ra 80, so brick, timber and stone keep their true colour instead of going flat and orange.

Care Instructions
Turn the power off at the wall switch and let the fitting cool, then wipe it clean with a dry cloth. Stainless steel needs a specific approach outdoors: always wipe along the grain rather than across it, and dry the surface properly, because water left to evaporate leaves mineral spotting. Avoid steel wool, abrasive pads and chlorine or bleach-based cleaners, which will pit stainless and cause rust marks. In coastal areas rinse the fitting with fresh water every few weeks - airborne salt is what causes the orange tea staining people mistake for rust on stainless, and it wipes off easily if you catch it early. The vertical striped grid is the part that needs regular attention: dust, cobwebs and insects collect between the ribs and break up the banded light pattern, so run a soft brush or dry cloth down the grooves a few times a year. Check the wall fixings and seals each season.
