The Sydney Solar Curtain Lights hang as a sheet of light rather than a single line, which is what makes them useful where a plain strand falls short - across a verandah opening, down the face of a window, behind an outdoor table or along a fence you want to disappear behind a wall of glow. A horizontal top wire carries evenly spaced vertical drops, so the light falls in a curtain and reads as a considered feature rather than something strung up in a hurry. The panel charges through the day and the curtain switches on by itself after dark, with no cabling to run, no outdoor socket to find and nothing added to a power bill. Eight modes cover everything from a steady, quiet glow for a dinner outside to a chasing twinkle for a party, and an IP65 rating means the strand stays out through Australian weather rather than coming down after every shower. Choose from three drop sizes and three light colours to suit the wall, window or pergola it is going on.
Key Features
- Curtain Format, Not a Single Strand: A top wire with evenly spaced vertical drops creates a full sheet of light across verandahs, windows, pergolas and fences.
- Up to 300 LEDs: Three sizes from 3 x 1 m (9.8 x 3.3 ft) with 100 LEDs up to 3 x 3 m (9.8 x 9.8 ft) with 300 LEDs, so the curtain fits the opening.
- Eight Lighting Modes: Move between a steady glow, waves, chasing and twinkle to suit a quiet dinner outside or a full party.
- Solar Powered, No Wiring: The panel charges in 6 to 8 hours of daylight and the curtain turns itself on at dusk, with no cabling, no socket and no running cost.
- IP65 Weatherproof: Rated to stay outdoors year round through rain, dew and Australian summer sun.

Care Instructions
Keep the solar panel clean - dust, pollen, leaf litter and bird droppings on the panel face are the single most common reason a solar curtain runs for only an hour or two, so wipe it with a soft, damp cloth every few weeks and dry it off. Clean the LED drops with a soft cloth only; do not pressure wash the curtain, run it under a tap or use solvents or spray cleaners, which will cloud the housings and can force water past the IP65 seals. Check that the panel still faces open sky and has not been shaded by new growth as the garden fills in. Before a storm or high wind, unhook the curtain rather than leaving it to whip against a wall or fence. If the lights will be packed away for the season, charge them fully first, then store them indoors in a dry box - a flat battery left flat for months will not hold charge properly next year. Untangle by lifting the top wire and letting the drops hang free rather than pulling on individual strings.
