Care Instructions
Care for the two materials separately. Buff the brass ends with a soft, dry cloth to remove fingerprints, using only a barely-damp cloth and a gentle dry afterwards for marks — avoid abrasive or acidic cleaners, which strip the finish. Keep the leather wrap dry and wipe it with a soft, dry cloth only; do not soak it or use solvents, and treat it occasionally with a little leather conditioner to keep it supple. Both brass and leather are natural materials that develop a beautiful patina over time.
