The Prism RGB Solar Spot Lights are uplights rather than pathway lights, which is the difference that matters: staked into a garden bed and angled upward, they wash a wall, a tree trunk or a decoration in colour instead of simply marking the edge of a path. Six colours with a cycling mode mean the same set can throw purple and orange across a facade in October, warm amber through a gum canopy in summer, and red and green in December, so they earn their place year round rather than living in a box for eleven months. Each head is ABS with an adjustable neck so you can aim the beam precisely, and the panel charges in 6 to 8 hours of daylight for 6 to 10 hours of run time - enough to carry an evening comfortably. Care Instructions
Keep the solar panel face clean - dust, pollen, leaf litter and bird droppings are the most common reason a solar spotlight runs for an hour instead of a full evening, so wipe the panel with a soft, damp cloth every few weeks and dry it off. Clean the ABS housing and lens the same way, and keep solvents, methylated spirits and abrasive pads away from both, as they will craze the lens and dull the housing. Do not pressure wash the lights or bury the housing in mulch, which traps moisture against the seals. Check that the panel still has clear sky above it as planting fills in through the season, and that mulch or grass has not grown across the beam. Before mowing or whipper-snipping, pull the spikes out rather than working around them. If the lights are packed away over winter, charge them fully first and store them indoors in a dry place; a lithium cell left flat for months will not hold charge properly the following year.
