The Olly Outdoor Pendant Light is a round globe lantern with an old-world feel. An aluminium cage of linked rings holds a set of clear, rounded glass lenses around the bulb, so when it is lit the light glints through each lens and throws a ring pattern across nearby walls. The aluminium has a textured, hand-finished look in either black or an aged bronze, and it hangs from a round ceiling canopy on a 60cm (23.6in) adjustable chain, so you can bring it down to eye level over a front door or a dining table. Three widths are available: 17.8cm (7.0in) for a porch or narrow entry, 22.9cm (9.0in) for verandahs and walkways, and 26.9cm (10.6in) for over an outdoor table. Each comes as a single pendant or in sets of 2, 4 or 6. It is rated IP54, takes an LED bulb (not included) and spreads light 360° over roughly 8-16m². Olly is made for covered outdoor areas only: hang it under a solid roof on a porch, verandah, courtyard loggia or alfresco, away from direct rain and water. It suits Mediterranean, Hamptons, farmhouse and heritage-style Australian homes, and is equally at home in an entry hall.

Care Instructions
Switch the power off at the wall and let the bulb cool before cleaning. The aluminium frame has a textured black or aged bronze finish: dust it with a soft brush to reach into the rings, wipe it with a cloth dampened in warm water and a drop of mild soap, then dry it. Never use solvents, metal polish, abrasive pads or bathroom and oven cleaners - polish will strip the bronze patina and solvents dull the finish, leaving the aluminium to oxidise white. Clean the clear glass lenses with a soft damp cloth and dry them so water does not spot, and clear insects and dust from inside the globe once or twice a year. In coastal areas wipe the pendant over with fresh water every few weeks to keep salt off the finish. Although it is rated IP54 against splashing, Olly is for covered outdoor areas only, so keep it under a solid roof and away from rain, sprinklers and the garden hose. Each season, check the chain links, canopy and fixings are secure, and do not let the chain twist, which strains the cable inside.
