The Nobu Vanity Light Bar is a single slim baton fixed by one short cylindrical mount at its centre, and that minimal fixing is the whole design - the bar appears to float clear of the wall on both sides with no visible bracketry, which is why it reads so quietly above a mirror. The two-tone treatment is the other detail: the tube is finished in gold with a black centre mount, or black with a brass one, so the fitting has a point of contrast rather than disappearing entirely. A continuous acrylic diffuser runs the full length of the underside, which matters more for a vanity light than anywhere else in the house - even light across your whole face, with no dark patches or hot spots to fight when you are shaving or applying makeup. Three-step dimming lets you switch between 3000K, 4500K and 6000K, so you can move from warm evening light to daylight-accurate for detail work. Four lengths from 39.9 cm to 100.1 cm suit mirrors of any width.

Care Instructions
Switch the power off at the wall and let the fitting cool before cleaning. This light lives in a bathroom, so the real enemy is not dirt but the products around it: hairspray, dry shampoo, perfume and aerosol deodorant drift upward and settle on the bar as a sticky film that yellows the acrylic over time, so wipe it every couple of weeks rather than waiting for it to look dirty. Clean the acrylic diffuser with a soft cloth and warm water with a drop of mild dish soap only - never methylated spirits, acetone, ammonia or glass cleaner, all of which craze and permanently cloud acrylic, and never paper towel or scouring pads, which scratch it. The copper tube takes a soft dry cloth; if it is lacquered, skip metal polish entirely, as polish cuts through lacquer and leaves patchy bright spots. Take care around the short central mount - it is the only fixing, so do not hang anything from the bar or use it to steady yourself. Run the extraction fan during showers to reduce condensation, and check the fixing each year.
