The Meadows Vintage Outdoor Wall Lantern is a traditional coach light with real presence: a hexagonal lantern hung from a scrolled gooseneck arm, with a ribbed dome roof, a decorative finial below and an ornate back plate topped with a fleur-de-lis. Each glass panel is rippled and overlaid with cut-out scrollwork, so the warm 3000K LED casts a soft, patterned glow across the wall. It is made from die-cast aluminium with a dark bronze finish and glass panels, and it is rated IP56 for outdoor use. The Small measures 52cm (20.5in) tall with an 18cm (7.1in) wide lantern and projects 26cm (10.2in) from the wall; the Large stands 68cm (26.8in) tall with a 25cm (9.8in) lantern and a 36cm (14.2in) projection. The 5W LED bulb gives about 485 lumens and is rated for 50,000 hours, lighting roughly 5.0-15.9m² (54-171 sq ft). It is hardwired on 110-240V and should be installed by a licensed electrician. Care Instructions
Switch off at the mains and let the lantern cool before cleaning. Dust the die-cast aluminium frame, scrollwork and ribbed roof with a soft brush, then wipe with a cloth dampened with mild soapy water and dry it; avoid solvents, metal polish and abrasive pads, which wear through the bronze finish. Clean the rippled glass panels with diluted glass cleaner sprayed onto a cloth, working gently around the scrollwork overlay. Clear spider webs, insects and leaves from inside the lantern and the drip finial regularly. In coastal areas rinse the fitting with fresh water every few weeks to stop salt build-up in the detailing. Support the lantern body when changing the bulb, check the arm and wall fixings once a year, and leave any wiring work to a licensed electrician.
