Care Instructions
Wipe the iron frame down with a soft damp cloth and dry it straight away, as trapped moisture is what starts surface rust on iron furniture left outdoors. Do not use abrasive pads, steel wool or solvent cleaners, which will cut through the protective coating and expose the metal underneath. Check the frame each season for chips or scratches in the finish and touch them up promptly, particularly in coastal areas where salt air accelerates corrosion. Keep the solar panel clean and free of leaves and dust so the table charges properly, and clear the light apertures with a soft dry cloth. Under a pergola or dense tree cover, move the table into direct sun for a day occasionally to top up the battery. Cover or store it undercover through long wet spells or over winter to extend the life of the finish.
