Jolly is a set of five solar-powered Santa Claus garden stake lights that turn a path, garden bed or lawn edge into a cheerful Christmas display with no wiring at all. Each little Santa, in a red suit with a white beard and hat, sits on a slim ground stake and glows warmly from within once the sun goes down. The five figures are linked to a single solar panel on its own stake, so you can tuck the panel into the sunniest spot while the Santas line the driveway, front steps or a courtyard garden. The panel charges during the day in about 6-8 hours of sunlight, switches the lights on automatically at dusk and runs them for up to 8 hours on a full charge. Eight lighting modes, from steady glow to twinkling, are selected on the control panel, and the IP65 waterproof rating means rain and sprinklers are no problem. Care Instructions
Jolly's Santa figures and stakes are moulded plastic, and the solar panel has a glass-like face, so clean them with a soft cloth and plain water or a little mild detergent; avoid abrasive cleaners and solvents, which scratch the panel and dull the paintwork on the figures. Wipe dust, pollen and bird droppings off the solar panel every week or two, because a dirty panel charges poorly and shortens the glow time. Position the panel where it gets direct sun for most of the day and keep it clear of overhanging plants. Push stakes in by gripping them close to the ground rather than pressing on the figures, which can crack. The set is IP65 waterproof, but do not submerge it or leave it lying in pooled water. At the end of the season, switch it off, dry everything and store it indoors in a cool, dry place.
