The Jiwa Bamboo Table Lamp is a study in restraint: a block of solid bamboo, a simple shade and a warm, quiet light. That wabi-sabi thinking - beauty in natural, imperfect materials - is what makes it work in Japandi, Nordic, boho and minimalist rooms, where a busier lamp would fight the space. The bamboo is solid rather than veneered, so the grain, tone and small natural marks are part of the piece, and the shade softens the light into a calm glow that suits bedrooms, reading corners, guest rooms and studies. Two switch options let you pick how you use it: the push button version steps through three light colours (warm, neutral and cool) for different times of day, while the knob dimmer version stays warm and dials the brightness up or down. At 22cm wide and 36cm tall (8.7 x 14.2in) it sits neatly on a bedside table or desk, and an energy-efficient LED globe is included. Available with AU, USA, EU or UK plugs.

Care Instructions
Dust the solid bamboo with a soft dry cloth, and wipe marks with a barely damp cloth, drying immediately - bamboo is a natural material that swells, stains and can grow mould if it stays wet, so never soak it or stand it in a damp room. Avoid furniture polish, solvents, bleach and abrasive cleaners, which strip the natural finish; a little clear furniture wax once or twice a year keeps the timber looking rich. Clean the shade by dusting with a soft brush attachment or lint roller and blot marks rather than rubbing. Keep the lamp out of direct sunlight, which dries and fades bamboo over time, and use the LED globe supplied rather than a hot incandescent one. Natural colour variation, grain and small surface marks are characteristics of solid bamboo.
