The Jarra Outdoor Wall Light is a long, sculptural sconce made to be seen. Each light is a slim tube of handmade steel finished in matte black, with both ends cut on a sharp angle and lined in gold, so light washes up and down the wall from the gold interior while the black body stays crisp against the surface. The Single is one tube 8cm (3.1in) across and 100cm (39.4in) long, a striking vertical line beside a front door or garage. The Double sets two tubes side by side and offset in height, 16cm (6.3in) across and 112cm (44.1in) overall, for a bigger statement on a feature wall, gate pier or alfresco. It takes E14 or E27 bulbs (max 12W or 40W, not included), runs on AC 110-240V and is hardwired by a licensed electrician; it needs a suitably sized junction box behind the wall plate so the fitting sits flush with no gap. Rated IP56, it handles exposed outdoor walls as well as humid indoor spaces. Its mid-century lines suit contemporary, coastal and modern Australian homes, from rendered facades and sandstone entries to charcoal brick and timber-clad walls.

Care Instructions
Switch the power off at the wall and let the bulbs cool before cleaning. The steel tubes have a matte black outer finish and a gold-finished interior: dust them with a soft dry cloth and wipe marks with a cloth barely dampened with water and a drop of mild soap, then dry straight away. Never use abrasive pads, cream cleansers, solvents or metal polish, which burnish the matte black into shiny patches and scratch through the gold lining. Steel will rust wherever the finish is broken, so check the tubes after storms and touch up any chip or scratch promptly, especially near the coast where salt air speeds up corrosion; rinse coastal installations with fresh water every few weeks. Clear leaves, insects and cobwebs from the open ends so water and debris do not sit inside. When changing a bulb, reach in gently through the angled end so you do not dent the tube, and use E14 or E27 bulbs within the 12W or 40W maximum. Have a licensed electrician check the wall seal and junction box if the light is on an exposed wall.
