The Cass Submersible Pool Lights sink and sit on the floor of the pool, throwing their light upward through the water rather than skimming across the surface, which is what gives a pool that lit-from-within look after dark. They are rechargeable rather than battery-fed, and the numbers are the point: four hours on charge returns up to 24 hours at full brightness or as much as 100 hours on the lowest setting, so a single charge comfortably covers a long weekend of evenings without anyone fishing them out to swap AAAs. Sixteen static colours and three dynamic modes - flash, fade and smooth - are selected on an RF remote that drives every light in the pool at once and remembers its timer setting, so 2, 4 or 6 hour automatic shut-off carries over night to night. Each light is a compact 8 cm (3.1 in) ABS disc rated IP68 for genuine continuous submersion, not just splash resistance.

Care Instructions
Rinse each light in clean fresh water when it comes out of the pool and dry it before charging - chlorine and salt left on the housing will chalk the ABS, and salt drawn into the charging contacts is the fastest way to kill a rechargeable unit. Make sure the charging port and its cover are completely dry before you plug in, and press the cover firmly back into place afterwards; a port cover left proud is how water gets past an otherwise sound IP68 seal. Clean the lens with a soft cloth only, never an abrasive pad or a solvent cleaner, which will scratch and haze the clear face and cut the output. Check the housing seam and seal each season for grit, flattening or cracking and stop using a light that shows any of these rather than risking a flood. Do not leave the lights sitting on the bottom of an empty pool in direct summer sun, as heat is harder on the battery than water is. For storage, charge them to roughly half and keep them somewhere cool and dry.
