The matte black finish keeps the fitting visually quiet during the day and lets the planting and paving do the talking, which makes them an easy fit for modern Australian gardens, coastal courtyards and native beds. A high-efficiency solar panel charges an 800mAh Ni-MH battery through the day, and an automatic dusk-to-dawn sensor takes care of switching, delivering a soft 2700K warm white glow for up to twelve hours with no wiring and no running cost. Each light stands 45.7 cm tall and installs with a simple push-in ground stake made from anti-rust ABS, so a full run can be laid out in minutes and repositioned just as easily. Care Instructions
Wipe the matte black ABS pole and angled head with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust, mud splash and sprinkler residue, then dry it off; avoid abrasive pads and solvent cleaners, which will polish shiny patches into the matte finish. Keep the solar panel on the head clean and unshaded - overhanging foliage and a dusty panel are the two most common reasons these lights fade early. Take care pushing the stake into hard or clay soil; water the ground first rather than forcing the pole, which can split the ABS stake. Remove the lights before mowing or edging nearby. Recharge the Ni-MH battery periodically and store the set indoors, fully charged, over long periods of disuse.
