The Calavera Inflatable Flying Skull stands 2.1 m (7 ft) tall and borrows its look from Day of the Dead rather than standard Halloween horror - a decorated calavera skull in a sombrero beneath a pair of monarch butterfly wings, in colours that stay vivid instead of disappearing into a dark lawn. Built-in LEDs light it from inside, so it holds the yard after sunset when unlit decorations vanish, and the built-in fan brings it up in seconds and keeps it standing all evening. The shell is a lightweight polyester that is waterproof and tear-resistant, which matters for a display that lives outside through a fortnight of spring weather, and the included ground stakes and ropes anchor it against wind. Deflated it folds down small enough for a cupboard shelf, so a display this size does not have to cost you storage space for the rest of the year.

Care Instructions
Deflate the decoration and unplug the blower before any cleaning. Spot clean the polyester with a soft cloth, cool water and a little mild detergent, then wipe the area again with a clean damp cloth - never machine wash, bleach or scrub, as the printed skull and wing detail will lift under pressure. Keep the blower unit and lead dry and clear of puddles, and take the display down in heavy rain or strong wind rather than leaving it inflated, since a wind-loaded wet shell strains the seams and the stake points. Allow the fabric to dry completely in the air before packing it away; folding it damp will bring up mildew across the panels over summer. Inspect the stakes, ropes and blower each time you set up, and re-peg anything that has loosened. Fold rather than stuff the shell, keep it away from sharp tools and rodents, and store it with the blower in a dry box out of direct sunlight.
