Care Instructions
Hand wash only in warm water with a mild detergent, then dry immediately with a soft cloth — never put the board in the dishwasher and never leave it to soak, as prolonged water contact swells the timber and can lift the resin. Cut on the timber face rather than the resin, and keep hot pans, boiling water and direct sunlight away from the board, as heat can soften and cloud the resin over time. Re-oil the timber every four to six weeks with a food-grade mineral or beeswax oil to keep the grain sealed and prevent drying or cracking, wiping any excess off the resin. To lift stubborn food odours, scrub the timber only with coarse salt and half a lemon, then rinse and dry. Store the board flat in a dry spot, away from heat sources.
