The Bili Solar Garden Lights turn a plain garden bed into something worth stepping outside for after dark. Each light is a slim black metal cone cut through with an intricate lace-like floral pattern, so when the LED inside comes on the light spills out through hundreds of small openings and throws a dappled pattern across the mulch, lawn or pavers around it. A solar panel in the top of the cone charges through the day, and the lights switch on automatically at dusk and off again at dawn, giving up to 12 hours of light after a full charge with no cables, timers or power bills. Each cone measures 8.1cm (3.2in) across and stands 39.5cm (15.5in) tall on its stake, low enough to edge a path without blocking the view and tall enough to lift the pattern above groundcovers. The set of two suits a front doorstep, either side of garden steps, a pebble bed beside the pool or a large courtyard pot. They look especially good against native grasses, gravel and rendered walls, where the patterned glow has room to show, and the waterproof build keeps them working through rain and sprinklers.

Care Instructions
Wipe the black metal cones with a soft, damp cloth and dry them off; a soft paintbrush is the easiest way to clear dust, cobwebs and leaf litter from the lace cut-outs. Avoid wire brushes, scouring pads and harsh solvents, which strip the black finish and expose bare metal to rust. If you notice a scratch or chip, touch it up with a little black outdoor metal paint before rust can start, especially in coastal gardens. Keep the solar panel on top of each cone clean and free of bird droppings and pollen so it charges fully, and make sure plants have not grown over it. Do not pressure wash the lights or leave them lying in puddles, and push them in and out by the stake rather than the cone. Pull them out before mowing or whipper-snipping nearby. If you store them over winter, charge them fully first and keep them somewhere dry.
