Dust the rubberwood and hooks regularly with a soft, dry cloth. For marks, wipe with a barely damp cloth and dry immediately — avoid soaking the wood or leaving it in prolonged damp, and take extra care in humid rooms such as bathrooms. Occasionally treat the wood with a little furniture or wood-conditioning oil to keep it nourished. Wipe the matte black aluminium with a soft damp cloth and buff dry; avoid abrasive pads or harsh chemicals, which can scratch or dull the finish.
