The Baha Solar Lantern is a tall, slim hanging lantern built to be hung rather than parked on a surface - from a gum branch, a pergola rafter, a verandah eave, a shepherd's hook in a garden bed or a hook on a deck post. The frame is iron with ABS detailing, and at 35 to 37 cm tall but only 8 to 12 cm wide it hangs with the narrow, upright proportions of a traditional storm lantern. An 800mAh solar battery charges in six to eight hours of sunlight and delivers twelve to fourteen hours of warm white 3000K light, with an automatic sensor turning it on at dusk and off at dawn so it runs entirely hands-free. There is no wiring and no setup beyond finding a hook. Rated IP65, the sturdy iron frame handles rain, wind and sun year-round, and an on/off switch lets you rest the battery when the lantern is not needed. Choose the round or the oval silhouette.

Care Instructions
Wipe the iron frame with a soft, damp cloth and dry it thoroughly, paying attention to the joins and the handle where water can sit and start surface rust; never use abrasive pads or solvent cleaners on the powder-coated finish. Clean the diffuser panels with a soft cloth and mild soapy water so the light stays bright and even. Keep the solar panel on the lid free of leaves, dust and bird droppings, since a shaded panel is the usual reason a lantern runs short. Check the hanging handle and your hook or branch periodically, especially before windy weather. Use the on/off switch and store the lantern indoors, fully charged, if it will be unused for a long period.
