The Agua Floating Solar Pool Light is a glowing disc that drifts across the water and turns the pool into the centrepiece of a summer evening. The round white shell is made from durable PE with ABS fittings, and a round solar silicon panel is set into the top so it charges itself in the sun with no wiring and no power bill. Give it around 10 hours of good sunlight, which is easy in an Australian summer, and the built-in light sensor switches it on automatically at dusk for about 8 hours of light from its 3.7V 2000mAh rechargeable battery. A remote control is included to change the colours from your sun lounger (the remote's battery is not included). Choose from two sizes: Small at 24.9cm (9.8in) across, ideal for spas, plunge pools and ponds, or Big at 32cm (12.6in) for lap pools and larger family pools. Float several together in different colours for a party, or set one on the pool step or coping as a soft night light. The 2.5W LED keeps power use low, so the battery lasts through the evening. Care Instructions
Wipe the solar panel with a soft, damp cloth every week or two so leaves, sunscreen film and pool scale do not block the sun; a dirty panel is the most common reason for a short run time. Rinse the PE shell with fresh water after use in chlorinated or salt-water pools and dry it, as pool chemicals left to dry on the surface can yellow and roughen the plastic over time. Clean with mild soapy water only: solvents, acetone and abrasive pads will scratch the shell and cloud the solar panel. Remove the light before shock-dosing the pool, and keep it out of the pool skimmer and away from pool cleaners. If you are not using it for a while, recharge it in full sun every few weeks and store it indoors so the battery stays healthy. Keep the remote control dry and away from the water.
