The Waverly Alabaster Wall Sconce is a single slender tube of natural alabaster, 65cm tall and only 6cm across (25.6 x 2.4in), held at its centre by a metal collar that mounts to the wall. Two globes sit inside, one shining up and one shining down, so the whole length of stone lights from within and the veining, clouding and soft translucency of the alabaster come through as a warm, even glow. Because it is so narrow it adds height and drama without taking up wall space - perfect between windows, beside artwork, along a hallway or as a pair either side of a bed or mirror. Choose a black collar for crisp contrast or a gold collar for a warmer, more classic finish. It suits minimalist, coastal, Mediterranean and contemporary interiors equally well. The sconce takes two replaceable E26/E27 globes, so you can choose the warmth and brightness yourself; a warm white LED brings out the honeyed tones of the stone best. It is hardwired for a clean install and runs on 110-240V.

Care Instructions
Switch off at the wall and let the stone and globes cool before cleaning. Alabaster is soft and porous, so dust it only with a dry, lint-free cloth or a soft brush. Never use water, glass spray, oils or acidic cleaners such as vinegar or citrus - they stain and etch the stone and can leave it permanently cloudy. Handle the tube with clean, dry hands, because skin oils darken alabaster over time. Wipe the black or gold collar with a soft, dry cloth; avoid metal polish and solvents, which can mark the coating and transfer onto the stone. To change a globe, support the alabaster tube with one hand while you release it, as the stone can chip if it is knocked or dropped. Install indoors in a dry area only, away from bathrooms, steam and splashes.
