A slim metal upright rises to a generous fabric shade that softens the light into a warm, diffuse wash rather than a hard downward beam — the kind of light that makes a room feel settled at the end of the day. It draws on wabi-sabi thinking, where the appeal sits in quiet materials and honest proportion rather than ornament, which is why it works as easily beside a low linen sofa as it does in a bedroom corner or a reading nook. Three heights are offered so you can match it to the furniture rather than compromise: 120 cm for a low sofa or armchair, 150 cm for general living-room lighting, and 180 cm for a tall corner or an open-plan space. A simple rotary switch on the upright keeps operation tactile, and AU, USA, EU and UK plugs are all available.

Care Instructions
Switch off at the wall and let the globe cool before cleaning. Clean the fabric shade with a lint roller or a soft brush attachment on low suction, working around the drum rather than pressing into it — do not wet the fabric or attempt to spot-clean with detergent, as water marks the weave and leaves visible rings. Wipe the metal upright and base with a soft, dry cloth, using a barely damp cloth for marks and drying immediately so moisture cannot sit in the joins and cause corrosion. Avoid abrasive pads and solvent cleaners on the metal finish. Check that the base sits flat and the upright is firmly seated before use, especially on the 180 cm height, and keep the cord clear of walkways rather than running it under a rug. Indoor use only.
