The Larry Glass Wall Sconce is a small, jewel-like wall light built around a single piece of glass. A half-dome of clear glass, textured like water droplets and flecked with fine bubbles, sits on a slim round wall plate, and when it is lit the texture scatters the light into a soft, sparkling glow on the wall around it. It measures just 11cm (4.3in) across and 11cm (4.3in) high, about the size of a grapefruit, so it fits where a larger fitting would crowd the space: either side of a front door, along a side path, beside a bench in an alfresco, or in a row down a hallway. Used in pairs or threes it gives a rhythm of small points of light rather than one bright fitting. It is designed for indoor walls and sheltered outdoor walls, such as a covered porch, verandah or courtyard under deep eaves, kept away from direct rain and water. The clear glass reads as almost invisible by day, which makes it an easy match for white render, painted brick, shiplap, sandstone or charcoal cladding, and it suits modern, coastal, Japandi and minimalist Australian homes.

Care Instructions
Switch the light off at the wall and let the glass cool before cleaning. The dome is clear textured glass: dust it with a soft dry microfibre cloth, and for marks use a cloth dampened with warm water and a drop of mild soap, then buff dry so water does not spot in the droplet texture. Avoid abrasive pads and gritty cleansers, which scratch glass, and keep ammonia window sprays off the wall plate. Support the dome with one hand whenever you remove it to change the bulb, as dropped glass will chip or crack, and never touch it while it is hot. Outdoors, mount Larry only on sheltered walls under cover, such as a covered porch or deep eaves, away from direct rain, sprinklers, pools and outdoor showers. Check the dome is seated firmly on the plate after strong winds, and clear cobwebs and insects from around it regularly over summer so the glass stays bright.
