The Kira Artistic Wall Sconce takes its shape from vintage mid-century art glass - a thick moulded shade gathered into soft pleats and finished with a scalloped, hand-draped rim, so it reads more like a piece of sculpture than a light fitting. It sits flush against the wall and throws its light upward, washing a warm glow across the plaster or panelling above rather than glaring into the room, which is exactly what you want beside a bed, along a hallway or above a console. Five colourways - green, brown, white, beige and burgundy - each deepen in tone through the folds, so the glass keeps its character whether the light is on or off. Choose your light: a fixed warm white for a cosy, lamp-lit feel, a fixed cool white for a crisper light, or the 3 Colour version that cycles warm, neutral and cool white straight from your existing wall switch - no dimmer, no remote and no cord on show. At 25cm wide, 18cm tall and just 10cm deep (9.8 x 7.1 x 3.9in) it sits close to the wall and suits narrow hallways and stairwells, while a matched pair either side of a bed makes a quiet feature of a bedhead wall. It works equally well in vintage, Nordic minimalist, Japandi and warm contemporary interiors. An E14 LED globe is included, the body is wrought iron, and it runs on 110-240V.

Care Instructions
Switch the light off at the wall and let the glass cool before cleaning. Dust the moulded shade with a soft, dry cloth, working gently into the pleats and along the scalloped rim where dust settles; for marks, use a cloth lightly dampened with warm water and a drop of mild detergent, then dry immediately so no streaks set into the coloured glass. Avoid ammonia-based glass sprays, solvents and abrasive pads - they dull the surface and can haze coloured glass permanently. Wipe the wrought iron body and the knob with a barely damp cloth only and dry straight away, as trapped moisture will mark the finish over time. Never let water run into the lamp holder, and do not install the sconce in a bathroom or anywhere it will be splashed. When changing the E14 globe, switch off at the wall first and support the shade from underneath rather than gripping the scalloped rim, which is the thinnest part of the glass.
