The Fly Modern Outdoor Wall Light takes its shape from a gull in flight: a slim, gently curved wing of die-cast aluminium that sweeps out from a small central mount and throws light both up and down the wall. Its three-head integrated LED washes a soft fan of light upward while two downlights pool light below, so a plain rendered wall picks up a layered pattern of light and shadow instead of a single bright blob. At 37.5cm (14.8in) wide, just 7.8cm (3.1in) deep and 4.5cm (1.8in) tall, it sits almost flat against the surface and weighs only 0.45kg (1.0lb), which makes it an easy fit beside a front door, along a balcony or on a narrow side path. Choose a black or white finish, then warm white 3000K for a relaxed alfresco glow or white 6000K for crisp, clear light around garages and entries. It runs on 9W and puts out around 600 lumens, enough to light 10-15 sq m (107-161 sq ft) of wall and ground, and carries an IP65 rating for Australian rain, salt air and summer heat. Sold singly or in packs of 2, 4, 6 or 8 to repeat along a facade, it is hardwired and operated from a wall switch.

Care Instructions
Switch the light off at the wall and allow the LEDs to cool before cleaning. Wipe the die-cast aluminium wing with a soft cloth dampened with water and a little mild detergent, then dry it; solvents, bleach, citrus cleaners and scourers will dull the black or white painted finish and can start corrosion at any scratch. Clean the small LED lenses on the top and underside gently with a dry microfibre cloth so they are not scratched, and clear spider webs and leaf litter from the upper edge regularly, as debris there shadows the uplight. In coastal areas, rinse the fitting with fresh water every few months to remove salt, which is the main cause of pitting on outdoor aluminium. The IP65 seal handles rain and hose spray but not a pressure washer, so never use one on the light. Check the fixings and the seal against the wall once a year. The LEDs are integrated and not user-replaceable; any repair or rewiring should be carried out by a licensed electrician.
