The Dural Travertine Pendant Light is a small cylinder of real travertine stone, open at the base and topped with a neat timber-tone cap where the cord enters. Travertine is a natural limestone, so every shade carries its own pitting, banding and creamy shifts in tone - no two pendants are quite alike, and the stone looks just as good switched off as it does lit. The light falls straight down through the open base in a soft, focused pool onto the bench or table below. Two cap finishes let you match the rest of the room: pale oak for Scandinavian and coastal interiors, or dark walnut for warmer, moodier schemes. The shade is 12cm (4.7in) across and comes in two heights, a short 10cm (3.9in) drum and a taller 16.5cm (6.5in) cylinder, so it stays compact enough to hang in a row of two or three over a kitchen island, as a bedside light either side of the bed, or as a single pendant in an entry, hallway or above a small dining table. Its clean, geometric Nordic shape sits easily in minimalist, Japandi and contemporary rooms. The cord adjusts up to 150cm (59in) to suit your ceiling height, the light source is included, and the fitting is hardwired to AC mains by a licensed electrician.

Care Instructions
Switch the light off at the wall and let it cool before cleaning. Travertine is a porous natural limestone, so dust the shade with a dry microfibre cloth or a soft brush and keep it dry - never use vinegar, lemon, bathroom sprays, glass cleaner or any acidic or all-purpose cleaner, all of which etch and dull the stone permanently. For a mark, use a cloth barely dampened with plain water and dry the stone immediately; oil, grease and red wine soak in if left, so wipe splashes off as soon as they happen. The small natural pits and holes are part of the stone, so do not try to fill or scrub them. Wipe the oak or walnut cap with a dry cloth only and keep polish and solvents away from it. Avoid hanging it directly over a cooktop or in a steamy bathroom, as the stone absorbs steam and cooking grease. Support the shade with one hand whenever it is handled, as stone is heavier and more brittle than glass or metal, and have it installed by a licensed electrician.
