Brae Folding Travel Lantern is a rechargeable LED lamp that packs down into a slim disc and lifts open into a softly glowing lantern whenever you need it. A pleated, frosted shade sits between a smooth ABS top and base, and a curved birch wood handle pivots on brushed metal studs, so you can carry it, hang it from a hook or simply stand it on any flat surface. Inside, a built-in 1200mAh battery recharges from any USB port, which means no cord trailing across the bedside table and no disposable batteries in the camping box. The light is a warm white, diffused through the pleats into an even, anti-glare glow that is easy on the eyes after dark - enough to read a menu on the deck, find your way around the tent or settle the kids at bedtime. Folded, it slips into a weekend bag, glovebox or drawer, and it is light enough to carry one-handed down to the beach. Choose clean white or soft grey to suit coastal, Scandinavian or Japandi interiors, then take the same lamp from the bedroom to the campsite without a second thought.
Key Features
- Folds Flat for Travel: Collapses into a slim disc that fits a bag, glovebox or drawer, then lifts open into a full lantern in seconds.
- Rechargeable 1200mAh Battery: The built-in battery charges by USB, so the light goes wherever you do with no cord or disposable batteries.
- Warm, Anti-Glare Glow: The frosted pleated shade softens the LED into a warm white light that is comfortable at the bedside and around camp.
- Birch Wood Carry Handle: A curved birch handle on metal pivot studs for carrying, hanging from a hook or swinging down out of the way.
- Indoors and Out: Equally at home on a bedside table, an outdoor dining table on a covered deck or a camp table at dusk.
- Two Colourways: Clean white or soft grey, both with natural birch, to sit easily in coastal, Scandinavian and Japandi homes.

Care Instructions
Wipe the ABS top and base with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry them straight away; solvents, alcohol wipes and scourers will dull and scratch the plastic. Clean the frosted pleated shade with a soft dry brush or a puff of air worked through the folds, and never fold it down while it is wet or gritty with sand, as trapped grit scuffs the shade every time it closes. The handle is natural birch, so keep it out of soaking and standing water, wipe it dry if dew or rain settles on it, and rub in a little furniture wax once or twice a year to stop the timber drying out. The lantern has no stated water-resistance rating, so bring it inside or under cover if rain sets in. Charge it from a standard USB supply, unplug it once full, and top the 1200mAh battery up every two to three months while it is in storage. Never leave it in a closed car or in full summer sun, where heat shortens battery life, and switch it off before folding it away.
