The Banyjima Faux Alabaster Pendant Light pairs a softly veined faux alabaster shade with dark marble beads and slim brass-tone fittings, so it hangs like a small piece of sculpture over the bench. The shade is translucent: lit, it glows a warm, creamy amber with the veining showing through; unlit, it still has the look of carved stone. Above it, one or two dark marble spheres or beads add weight and contrast against the pale shade. There are five shapes to choose from. Model A is a 10cm (3.9in) capsule on a long brass neck, 23cm (9.1in) tall. Model B is a 10cm (3.9in) cylinder under a single marble bead, 27cm (10.6in) tall. Model C is the slimmest, an 8cm (3.1in) capsule with one marble ball, 20cm (7.9in) tall. Model D is a 10cm (3.9in) faceted bottle shape under stacked marble, 22cm (8.7in) tall. Model E is a wider 14cm (5.5in) dome under two marble spheres, 21cm (8.3in) tall. Repeat one model in a row of two or three over a kitchen island or dining table, pair them either side of a bed, or mix shapes for a curated cluster in an entry. The cable adjusts up to 150cm (59.1in), it takes a G9 bulb of up to 5W, and it is hardwired by a licensed electrician.

Care Instructions
Switch the light off at the wall and let the G9 bulb cool before cleaning. Dust the faux alabaster shade with a soft dry microfibre cloth; for marks, use a cloth barely dampened with plain water and dry it immediately. Keep alcohol, acetone, glass cleaner and abrasive pads off the shade, as they can cloud or scratch its surface and dull the veined effect. The dark marble beads are natural stone - keep vinegar, lemon, bathroom sprays and any acidic cleaner well away, because acid etches marble and leaves pale, dull spots that cannot be wiped off, so a dry cloth is all they need. Wipe the metal fittings and cable with a dry cloth only. Hold the shade rather than the marble when changing the bulb, and never fit a bulb above 5W. Rated IP20, the pendant is for dry indoor areas only, so keep it clear of showers, steam and anywhere it could be splashed. Installation and cable adjustment should be carried out by a licensed electrician.
