The Aussie BBQ Tools Set is a complete 114-piece kit built around the flat-top hotplate, the way most Australian backyards actually cook. Five stainless steel blades do the heavy lifting: a 37cm (14.6in) long spatula and matching perforated spatula for turning fish and draining fat, a 29.4cm (11.6in) square spatula, a 25cm (9.8in) burger turner with enough weight behind it to smash patties flat, and a 23.6cm (9.3in) angled scraper for pushing onions and clearing the plate between batches. A 16.5 x 12.4cm (6.5 x 4.9in) bench scraper, 33cm (13in) tongs and a 25.9cm (10.2in) basting brush round out the cooking tools, while two 18.5cm (7.3in) squeeze bottles hold oil and sauces. For breakfast cooks there are two 8.2cm (3.2in) egg rings, one round and one heart-shaped, plus a 15 x 8.9cm (5.9 x 3.5in) cleaning brick and a bundle of 100 bamboo skewers at 30cm (11.8in) long. Every piece packs into a black zip carry bag with orange handles measuring 36 x 12.9 x 10.9cm (14.2 x 5.1 x 4.3in), so the whole kit moves from the shed to the BBQ, the caravan or the campsite in one trip. It suits gas hotplates, charcoal grills, electric griddles and portable camp cookers, and makes an easy gift for anyone who runs the tongs at family get-togethers.

Care Instructions
Wash the stainless steel spatulas, scrapers, tongs and egg rings in warm soapy water after each cook and dry them straight away with a towel, as water left sitting on stainless steel leaves spots and, in coastal air, can start surface rust. Avoid bleach, chlorine-based cleaners and steel wool on the blades, because they pit and scratch the finish. Hand washing is recommended for the whole set: dishwasher detergents dull the steel and the heat can warp the black plastic handles over time. Keep the handles away from the hotplate and open flames, and never leave a tool resting on a hot grill. Rinse the squeeze bottles with hot soapy water and let them air dry with the caps off. Tap loose grease off the cleaning brick and replace it once it wears thin, and discard any bamboo skewers that are scorched or split. Make sure every piece is completely dry before it goes back in the carry bag, then store the bag somewhere dry and out of direct sun.
