The light is directed down from under the shade onto a bedside table, a reading chair or a console, keeping it glare-free at eye level. It measures 25cm (9.8in) wide and 38cm (15.0in) tall, a size that suits a bedhead, a desk or a narrow entry. Made from aluminium and iron, it takes one standard E27 bulb (a 3000K warm white LED bulb is included), runs on AC 90-260V and lights roughly 10-15m², which is generous for a wall light. Because the fitting uses a standard E27 base you can swap in any E27 LED later.
